I read an article recently which stated that Russia was rotating soldiers in and out of Ukraine in order to build a battle hardened military for the *real* upcoming war.
Essentially, using the conflict in Ukraine as "on the job training".
Somewhat in conflict with Putin’s saying earlier that Russian troops at the front would remain for the duration and that retreating soldiers would be executed.
I don't suppose you have a credible source for that, do you?
