Russia does not train their men. the Russians give most their guys the AK and some ammo and then their off to Ukraine. we and NATO train the Ukraine's about 8 or 12 weeks. then if someone is going to a tank, artillery or planes, there is more training. "the more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle" is what the Drill Sergeant said to me.
I am hoping Russia prevails and gets to keep the territory they've gained. It now looks like they have assumed a defense strategy that is working pretty well. I am hoping Western Europe soon decides to leave alone the facts on the ground.
