They are talking 60-100 F-16's of European and Amercan origin.

That's what they want. So far eight have been committed, maybe, from a US Air National Guard unit.. Nobody else has committed to giving them any at this time. None of the European NATO countries that have been mentioned as possibilities (because they've ordered F-35 Raptors to replace them) are going to give up any F-16s until their F-35s arrive.

Which isn't for one to five years in most cases.

Ukraine requested 200 of them.
I'm sure Nato and the US can scrape up 60 16's pretty easily.
