Most likely bull shit and the Ukraine Patriot Battery let the Orcs into the 100% Pk before lowering the BOOM. When Patriot lets slip the PAC-2 it's game over for any aircrew. PAC-2 goes for the cockpit.

Patriot in Odessa is bad news for Orcs in the Blacksea.
