When the Saudis killed the journalist Kamal Kashogi the United States government went apeshit. Beijing Biden was “furious” with MBS and was willing to destroy any and all alliances with Saudi Arabia over the murder. The amount of time dedicated, in all forms of media, to covering the torture and murder of a U.S. journalist was enormous yet the SAME EXACT thing happens to a U.S journalist in Ukraine and we don’t hear a SINGLE CONDEMNATION from those same righteous activists….SHAMEFUL and hypocritical beyond belief.
It's worse than that. Khashoggi was abducted suddenly and all US actions/protests came in response to the event. His death was not preventable.
Gonzola Lira has been languishing for months in custody and his family has sought action from the US government for many months. They've been ignored. His death was preventable.
