The short of it is that the war comes down to Russia’s resolve to stay in Ukraine Vs. Our government’s resolve to keep funding Ukraine. Once our 100’s of billions in money and weapons get cutoff Ukraine is done.
Actually, I think it will come down to Ukraine's ability to keep putting soldiers in the field. That will end before Russia or the US govt loses their resolve.
You could very well be right.
Russia is too invested and entrenched to think that they’re just going to retreat back to Russia with nothing to show for it.
When the war will end comes down to when US political will turns against sending Ukraine more money or Zelenskyy runs out of lives to sacrifice.
