The G7 nations and the EU have closed in on Russian oil tankers sanctions penalizing the use of “Shadow Fleets “ which are older tankers, some being of questionable seaworthiness.
The crackdown involves mostly the denial or the removal of insurance for the crude tankers which directly affects risks to potential buyers of the Russian crude.
