Russia has nearly encircled Avdeevka, utilizing the pincer strategy from Artemovsk (fka Bahkmut) that resulted in the deaths tens of thousands of cuckraine troops that were trapped and could only withdraw through the area left open by Russia.
Cuckraine general Zaluzhny advised Gaylensky not to repeat the strategy of Artemovsk at Avdeevka.
So far, Gaylensky has ignored this advice, and sent more troops to the slaughter, while he negotiates.
