That’s an interesting sentence. Apparently Ukraine’s military is a volunteer force that asks commanders nicely if they’ll take command instead of automatically “promoting” the next appropriate individual to the position of commander. It’s pretty pathetic that a general can refuse to command the forces he’s pledged to command but a kid with Downs Syndrome is forced to fight or be shot by his comrades. Old men or the disabled can be violently compelled to serve but the fat ass generals with their stolen money simply want to drive their sports cars in the Mediterranean instead of living up to their obligations and commanding troops while their “beloved motherland” is under assault from their extended family. You just can’t make this bullshit up…
