Putin's "heroes" are sitting in a hole. Some as punishment for alcohol, some for refusing to go on an assault. To leave the hole, commanders demand from 150 thousand to a million rubles ($2,000-$12,000) per person. Most of the soldiers have been there for months.
Ukrainian drone drops grenades on Russian infantry in a trench near Avdiivka. One wounded soldier is dragged away by his comrade, only to be hit again and again. He eventually catches fire temporarily and seems to be still breathing at the end, but probably not for much longer.
