This zombie lie needs to die for good. Where is there any signed treaty saying such a thing? Also, the Russia ass suckers here are quick to jump all over anyone who suggests the Soviet Union and Russia are one and the same. So even if this mythical agreement had been signed with the USSR (it wasn't) how would it still be in effect with a new and completely different country?

There was no push by other NATO nations to make Ukraine a NATO member. Also there are already NATO countries on Russia's western border. Putin did nothing when they joined. NATO expansion is not why Putin invaded Ukraine. He invaded Ukraine because he wants it's natural resources and he doesn’t accept that Ukraine is a real state or has a separate national identity. He sees it as an integral part of the Russian national patrimony.
