Our dash as didn't record 24/7
There was three ways ours were turned on
A. Manually by pressing the green button on the housing
B by Turing the pursuit switch on to position 3 or 4 which activated the overhead lights, and lights and siren respectively
C it was automatically triggered by a critical AL event (crash) In this mode it recalled 8 seconds prior and after the trigger time
