Empiracly speaking, you are correct.
If you separate the science & religion, I believe religion is in the business of “why” and science is the study of how. Unless science can find some creator, I’m not sure it is the place to go to find the why.
I can't agree - I don't see how faith answers "why" either. It's like science and only describes "what" and "how".
