Once again I don't see it as a big problem. The OP is a handloader, so if some factory rounds don't fit just shorten them up a bit with a seating die. It's only going to be an issue for a particular bullet if the ogive gets below the case mouth.
With the typical problem being "I can't reach the lands with magazine length cartridges" it seems like this "screw up" is actually a gift.
