It seems at my advanced age I don't seem to get as many boners as I used to.........
However I did get one today. Just in from Gene Ingram, 5" Kingfisher, A2 Steel, Desert Ironwood scales.
But Skinners............
Just in from Rick Menefee. The one on the left is scaled with stabilized pine cone in acrylic, AEBL steel. When he sent me a pix, I had to have it.
The one on the right is scaled in Micarta and is A2 Steel. I have a matching Badley (IIRC)that I cajoled Sakohunter 264 out of.
Next is one by Gary Music, MusicMade knives. Buffalo horn scales, Loveless pins, 52100 Steel.
A clay Alaskan Skinner by TK Steingass. Ramshorn and S30 V steel. He told me this is the first Clay skinner he has done.
Last one up is by Todd Theyn. Its a little different than what I usually heft. I asked him to make me a knife, and told him to surprise me. Wow did he. He says this knife is made from L6 Steel that he weathered for six years. The scales are stabilized spalted Pecan. Made a custom left hand cross draw sheath to go with it.
