Fished Oswego about 15 years ago, buddy had a friend with a slip in Polaski.
We would meet this local named Walleye Willy, in Oswego. He had a rickety old inboard outboard sounded like it was on its last legs. He trolled Rapalas around the launching ramp and every time we trolled past a certain rock we had either a monster walleye or brown. This was early May, I believe the walleye were stacking up to spawn upriver. Fished 2 nights and it was fantastic.
During the day we fished out of the friends boat in Polaski and got nothing.
