gun cranks on forums like this will give pause to purchasing Ruger or Hornaday products.
Even with this partial knowledge I would not go near a Ruger in future.
That's OK with me, you don't have enuff 'future' left to fully enjoy a Ruger anyway.....
By the way, I am a 'gun crank on a forum like this', and I've bought, uhh let's see, rugers UL in 7/08, a UL in 204, a 77 sporter in 17 fireball, a piston AR, a 1911, a 77/17 Hornet, a 77/22, an american predator, a hawkeye predator, a RPR (all 3 in 6.5), and these are just since I shot off my nose and developed a flinch.
As far as Hornady goes, I reckon I'm a regular Hornady whore. 1000 rds of 204 brass, a case or more, of 204 factory loads, a few cases of 17 hornet stuff, a bazillion 32, 40, 50, 53, 55 vmaxs, almost as many 68 hps, 75 amaxs. 1500 140 6.5 amaxs, 5000 20 grain vmaxs, 1000 25 vmaxs in 17. And there's more..... But again, this is just stuff after the blowup.
