Why was Trump with members of the Military in his inauguration?

Why specifically flanked and backed by these? Never before in history was this done. It's a clue, such as those military intel gives by Q.

Trump became President of the Republic on Jan 20, 2017. He still is the President of the Republic. That's why he can't, and won't, concede the 2020 election.
