LOL, my first exposure to Photoshop was in the early 90's. I had a guy working for me who did our CAD drawings and other graphics for reports. He kept bugging me to send him to a Photoshop training class. It was expensive so I asked him to show me how it would help him do his job.

So he goes to the class. I come in on a Monday morning and open my desk drawer to find a photo of some porn star laying back getting a hummer, and my face is photoshopped in.

I was sold immediately.
