Regarding fouling: The paper-patched, duplexed-BP loads with a grease cookie are the cleanest shooting loads I have ever experienced. It is like self cleaning with each shot. The soft Norma brass really seals the chamber nicely, no smoking of case necks or any leakage into the action. All the BP smoke goes out the barrel. The grease cookie keeps the BP fouling in the barrel soft. The paper patch of the next shot wipes it clean as a whistle. Those Norma cases sure cleaned up easily with soapy water too, barely dirty, inside only.
