Breakfast today...

Egg Gravy. Made just like sausage gravy. Scramble a few eggs, add a tablespoon of butter and flour to the pan. When the flour is cooked lightly, add enough milk to the pan and let thicken. Season with salt, pepper etc. Serve over toast or baking powder biscuits.

This is an old family pioneer recipe. Cam across the plains from the east to the west with my family.

Try it, you might like it.

Add some crumbled bacon... Yummy


My mother used to make that cept she used chopped up boiled eggs....

I still make it every now and then for a change of pace but her's was better....or maybe I was younger and hungrier....
