That looks good. I have never thought of sub'ing rice for spuds.

It's one of my favorite stews. Really simple. Beef, (wild) rice, mushrooms, pearl onions,.garlic, fresh parsley, salt, pepper, a pinch of rosemary leaves. Cooked in beef stock.


Similar to mine with the rice sub'ing the spuds. I will make it this winter.
