Aldi's had some really nice corned beef flat cuts on sale for $3.79/lb. Not fatty at all. Picked one out and dropped it in the pot. Flipped it over when I pulled it out and scraped the thin fat cap off with a spoon.
On my "yuppie" square plate, as my bud eh76 likes to call them.
