Do they "grow" wild up your way? If so, DYI, they're not at all hard to trap/catch.

Believe it or not we have them in our lake, not many because I have not seen them in the lake myself. I only know this because one day a seagull was flying over my house and dropped it on my patio. When I went to look at what it dropped, it was a dead Crayfish. It may have survived if it had a parachute lol

We do have crayfish in Canada, but I do not think we have them (the numbers) as you do in Louisiana. I have seen them in creeks and rivers while turning over rocks. I have even used imitation crawfish lures while fishing for Large and Smallmouth Bass.
