Ham and bean soup and cornbread.

We had ham boil the other night, so kept the liquor from that, along with some potatoes. Cut up garden carrots, some celery, and an onion. Dumped them and the ham bone into a pot with a can of chicken broth and the liquor from the ham boil. Cut up some extra ham bits and add them. Let the whole thing simmer for a couple of hours, then added a can of Great Northern beans and a can of Navy beans, along with the juice from each. Let it simmer for another 40 minutes or so.

I have really liked the ham and beans since I got smart and gave up on the stupid dried beans.
