Last night, as the wife was on the way home from running a dog and visiting relative in the Bay Area, I got to cook...........................liver!

Free liver, as the folks I got 1/4 beef from earlier this year tossed the liver, heart, and tongue in for free!

Anyone else ever tried it on the grill?

1/2" thick, 2 minutes timed per side as from a link I found. Came out perfect. I hate overcooked liver more than I do overcooked steak, and I really hate that.

If it's fired up, I might as well make use of the heat, right? Once the liver was done, I put on some spicy sausages and chicken thighs, along with some small onions I just pulled to go with my liver:
