I am originally from Chicago and years ago I brought Venison Tenderloins in for Christmas when in town My family was kind, but avoided them like they were radio active I never even cooked them I could just tell. I packed them up and took them home
I got a bit salty about it, but now years later
My family comes during the summer they love Venison sliders We were just in for Thanksgiving and made Venison Nachos none left they scoffed them
I think my favorite was my Sister who seldom cooks asked for Chili meat (which is my ground) she made Chili with meat I left and loved it It took a while but once they tried it with an open mind they enjoy what I bring and I for sure enjoy bringing it
