260 is probably the direction I'll go. I only have one other 260. I have 2, 243's -- with a third (Forbes) to show up later this year.
I a big 243 fan though. A 243 always seems to be in my hands during deer season. I need several because I have a few kids that are quickly becoming rifle grabbers!
I'm probably going to move my 9 year old daughter into one this year. She needs something a little lighter than a standard sporter (700). I'm thinking about chopping a Montana stock down and letting her fling some bullets.
I'm kinda itching for a 223 Montana again too. If I do, I'll probably trip my 700AI.

I'd like to rebarrel one like smokepole did is WSM. Factory contour through the forend, then slightly heavier to the muzzle. If I can't get my WSM project to shoot easily I may just try that. But then I'd have to decide between 7 and 6.5 on a short mag case of some sort. I better hope it shoots as I'm bad at making decisions...
