Yep, Texas is a target rich environment. Mostly because yall keep the coon asses out pretty well

I love going out there and shooting stuff, mostly because yall practice my favorite forms of venison procurement, bait and shoot, and drive and shoot. In my book, drive and shoot beats the hell out of spot and stalk.
I have already killed enough stuff hunting, that I am now satisfied just shooting any old meat bag that walks by.
I wish that I had taken it easy back when my buddies who own ranches wanted their deer numbers down. I could have stretched that deal out for several years. But no I did not have the sense to do that and went after them full bore, and that was back when I could still get around without a golf cart or truck. They say that if they take it easy on the deer and buy a few more from the neighbors that will soon have a huntable population depending of fawn mortality.
