Maybe so? Coupla years ago, an old buzzard (retired USMCR officer) of my acquaintence got to yakkin' about his days in The Corps and choppers.
I mentioned a feller I know who'd just retired from USCG, also a chopper pilot of long standing. Turned out they'd attended the same school many (many) years before that.
But the old Jarhead wasn't amused when I told him Coast Guard Charlie must've been the better lad, since he retired as an Admiral and Bob The Marine had retired as a Major.
