Grew up in a little mining town during grade school. We used to hunt bullfrogs in the creek. My friends family ate the things. Now mind you I said mining town. They were stained sulfur orange. All you would see is their eyes above all the sulfur silt in the creek.
I can only imagine all the poisons those frogs absorbed living in that creek. The "city" water could be lit on fire from time to time so imagine what the creek was like. Oh the days before tree hugging liberals! How did we survive!
