ihookem, I would steer clear of the Mossberg. Not sure but that might be the model that had 'issues'. Either way I'd go M7 anyday over it.
Lot's of guys recommend the 95 Ballistic Tip and various Partitions, TTSX/TSX, etc..
I'm going with Prairie Goat's 95 BT idea. Cheap enough to target shoot and should work fine for deer.
