Heard about the young female field mouse?
playing hide and seek in the corn; along comes a corn thresher and reaping machine, scoops up the corn she`s in, bundles it, ties it and tosses it out into the field.
It took her several hours to get out and she ran home to mother who said: "Where on earth have you been until now?"
The young girl fieldmouse said:
"Oh! Mother, mother! I`ve been reaped!"
