Here's the other looming credibility-test for Mr. Trump.

"....Trump was asked whether he had asked Comey to end the investigation into Flynn. "No. No. Next question," he responded, four words upon which the credibility and viability of his presidency now rest."

The problem with this stuff is, if he gets caught in these direct contradictions, even you guys will be forced to acknowledge that the guy is a big, fat liar. Once he gets to that point- I mean, really, for 2/3 of us he's already there, but once his dishonestly penetrates into his hard core of support, he's toast, because the R's in congress will no longer be able to tie THEIR credidibility to his, and will stop shielding him.

Beyond that is simply the idea that POTUS's can't get repeatedly caught in bald-faced lies. R or D.
