I have absolutely zilch medical knowledge or experience to offer anything concrete, but I too have noticed a change. In the past year, some of what he comes up with have given me more than one WTF? moment in terms of it being over the wall bizarre. It's easy to laugh at "bad bong water" jokes and the like, but if there is indeed a medical/psychological problem, I hope he can get the help he needs.

Does anyone know anything about his personal life? Does he have close kin, and if he does, is this something that they would likely recognize in his behavior or is it more possibly a "can't see the forest for the trees" scenario for them from being around him all of the time?

Just curious, but since the issue has been raised, I too wonder what is really ticking (or maybe not ticking) in this man's mind.
