Did the same over the weekend, but used deer burger, + sliced sweet chillis & added a can of this, plus carrots, celery & a cup of pot barley.

Sautéed 2 large diced onions, browned deer burger in the left over bacon fat from breakfast & then added vege & sweated down a little, before adding "said can" & 3 quarts of good stock.

Very hearty.
