Due to some colds making their rounds we had to wait on the traditional duck/red cabbage/potato dumplings dinner until today. I am not a great cook in most regards but this is a meal I can nail consistently, thanks to my Sudeten grandma teaching me when I was a kid. For those who were knocking the necks, the duck neck is my absolute favorite, followed by that forkful of bliss, a crispy piece of duck skin, a dumpling and a bit of red cabbage.
