Right around 40 pleased guests. Easy to do, just go to Costco, buy a 50 pound pig, 6 bags of charcoal briquettes, light the briquettes, put the pig on the skewer, put the skewer over the coals, then tend the coals and the pig for 7 1/2 hours…

Any details on the motor /set up that turns the spit?


The whole grill can be bought off the internet. The motor, like everything else on the grill, is as cheap as they can make it. The motor was getting hot while grilling, so we put a small fan in it and it was fine. It handled the whole 7 1/2 hours with no problem.

You will pay as much to rent one of these, as this one cost. If you get a few grillings out of it, you will easily pay for it…
