I remember when The Villager went in on Flint Drive in Storm Lake and we thought that it was the greatest thing ever. Before that, it was Coney Dogs at the A&Root. When I first got to Ames, the only burger doodle was Henry's, where you could get 5 or 6 burgers and something like 10# of fries for some ridiculous price. After eating the fries, you could wring out the paper bag that they came in and have enough cooking oil for a month.

Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.
