Strip loin roast done in red wine, then gravy made with the drippings and wild forest mushrooms from Ukraine, reconstituted with a Crianza from Spain. Butternut squash with walnuts and maple syrup (not my best effort).

Overdone because Slavyanka won’t eat rare meat with her stomach condition.

After dinner, a dram of 15 year old Glenfiddich I got for my birthday.
