I miss my mother-in-law's tortillas. While I lived around her in the Colorado high country they were always perfect.. always. Made on a coal stove and the ones not eaten immediately were wrapped in a cloth... if they lasted that long. She couldn't really tell you how to make them with precision but she could show you. Hand full of this and a pinch or two of that and there you go. Perfect. No telling how many thousands she made through the years. Had my wife Mercy lived she might have gotten to the level of her mother. Miss you Teresa.
