Then last week, I made fajitas:


Cut deermeat into fajita sized strips and season heavily the carne asada seasoning. Cook in olive oil until mostly done. Remove from skillet.

Add a little more olive oil and put in a finely diced onion and season heavily with carne asada seasoning as well and cook until tender. Add 1/4 cup water and stir until water is mostly cooked out then add deer meat and a garlic clove and finish cooking.

This was my favorite of all the ways I have prepared it so far.
