Added beef consommé, red wine, fresh cracked black pepper and sea salt, a few bay leaves and some slivered garlic.

And finally, the beef shanks. Salt and peppered, some more garlic, fresh rosemary, some dried thyme and parsley.


CRAP !!! I forgot the tomato paste... Back to that step. I hate it when I forget something.

Now, 4-5 hours in the crock pot.
