Hope he was just funnin' us. Many years ago a friends drag racing sponsor dropped off several hundred pounds of sea scallops, mushrooms and garlic cloves at the track along with a dozen or so chefs to prepare them.
Around midnight we were eating like kings.Once in lifetime exp. for me. YUM !
