Jim Beam puts it out, and it is what the name implies...the Devil's Cut. When whisky is put into the barrel to age, some evaporates, thats called the " Angel's Share" Another bit of it soaks into the charred oak barrel, thats called " The Devil's Cut"
They squeezed it out of the wood somehow...its a different, but pleasant taste...
