Pickiest damn rifle I have ever played with. I tried every .224 and .228 bullet out there. Reduced charges. Full charges. Slow and fast powders. Cast bullets. Played with seating depths. You name it. It keyholed everything at 25 yards. Was about to sell it.

I finally found some old .227 sisk bullets that would actually stabilize, though they were making 1 foot groups at 25 yards. Tried about 10 different loads and bingo! 2" groups at 100 yards with an original marbles tang sight.

I will be killing a deer or lope with it this year.
