This one has been to Hill Country Rifle for their accurizing and a Vais brake added. I've mounted the 4.5 x 14 x 40 Leupld with the B&C reticule . I consider myself a short range meat hunter. However my longest poke with this rifle was a laser ranged 590 yds. I'm now loading the 200 gr. CT ballistic Silvetips. With the 3,150 fps. velocity and 200 yd.zero, I'm 1" high at 100 yds, dead on at 200, first subtension at 300. Three hundred yards and under is a cinch as long as I don't screw up.

That .243 is a little sweetie!
In my .338 RUM I'm working on a 250 grain Sierra load, but a 210 grain NP did this to an cow elk last December.

The load is a 210 NP using 102 grains of H-1000 and Fed 215 primer for a velocity of 3200 fps

Trying to get a 250 Sierra at 3000 fps,but so far 2983 fps is the highest with Ramshot Magnum, and Geedubya THAT rattles the cage. This weekend will try H-1000 and see what accuracy and speed it gets.
