Man I was tempted.

I was on the way to the range this AM. It's about 5 mile south from where I live. Leaving Pearland one is in the county and the ETJ of Alvin, Tx on State Highway 35. I'd gone a couple miles when I see this critter on the right, this side of the bar ditch, about 5 foot off the shoulder. About 5 seconds and I say to my self, dang if that ain' a hog. I hit the brakes and I'm even with the sucker. Probably a 150 pounder. I've got five rifles, and my 10mm Glock beside me. If I'd been in my truck, or if I'd had my basket on the back of the Expedition, I could have reached out the passenger side window with the glock, tapped him, had him in the back inside of two minutes. It's 7 AM and no one on the road. But you know about "bleeding like a stuck hog" and I didn't want blood all over the carpet. He was living under a lucky star.

Best,

GWB
