Dan this is going to be a coyote rifle built on a Interarms action. The .22-6mm I have is 10+ lbs and am wanting another .22-6mm but lighter.Want it to be around 8 lbs ready to go.

Any suggestions?

Going to have Douglas barrel the action in a #2 contour, which will be 5-1/4 lbs without stock.

Different trick that. I like McMillan sticks mostly and for yotes I'd lean to 6X. Guess on my part but you might make 8# that way w/o metal work.
I like a 6x as well,9x or more is too much scope.

The Interarms action is 3 lbs itself,so just trying to keep all the un-needed metal (heavier barrel) off.

Thanks Dan for your input. smile

Elky,

Have ya looked at the Leupy 8x40 FX II?
