The story on my cousins elk: We seen some elk about 30 minutes before legal light and wait, when we go looking for the elk, nowhere around. So we hunt for the rest of the day and finally find the herd about 45 minutes before dark,I shoot at one,it turns to the right and starts going down hill running,it crosses in front of my cousin, who drops it with a neck shot.I tell him he shot my elk,but when we look for the bullet hole it's NOT THERE just his. We think my shot grazed it making it run.

By the way I missed it with my .338 Win mag,and just to change my luck I started carrying the RUM,Monday afternoon.
